Academic Year 2020-2021 will stand apart. Against the backdrop of COVID-19,  we must embrace a multilayered safety and health plan that will help keep each other safe. It will call for flexibility in response to changing developments, as well as in our teaching and learning to accommodate the challenges our students and faculty will face. Please refer regularly to this site, as it will be frequently updated with important new information as developments in NYU's planning occur.

NYU Emergency Relief Funds

We recognize that the impacts of COVID-19 may have imposed unexpected expenses or financial hardships on members of the NYU community.  To assist students, NYU created the COVID-19 Emergency Relief Grant program, which uses funds generously donated by the NYU community, University funds, and federal CARES Act funds, which the University is committed to using for direct student assistance.

There is now the NYU Emergency Relief Fund for Faculty and Employees as a way for NYU friends, alumni, and fellow employees to help support employees in the face of new challenges presented by COVID-19.  Initiated by and developed in partnership with the Administrative Management Council, 100% of all donations will directly support our employees’ most urgent needs as they adapt to changing circumstances.
